I was listening to this episode again, and something still bothers me: I think it’s wrong to characterize movie audiences in such a way that suggests that it’s only geeks and geek elitists who want the movies they go see (and pay for) to be good movies — as if it doesn’t matter for the normal population if a movie is a piece of crap, because they don’t know any better, and they’ll just eat it up no matter what.
What say you?
