I vote for the decade called “1985 to 1995.”
I need reasons Haines! REASONS! Why 85 to 95?
85 is a good year. Year NES was released!
See, I didn’t want to jeopardize my own case in the episode, but I’ve often perpetuated a theory that the ’80s didn’t really end until like 1993. The years 1987-1993 are the ideal time in my mind, with 1989 being the real high point of sorts.
Think about how many awesome movies came out that year, for example. Indiana Jones III, Batman, UHF, Back to the Future II, Ghostbusters II, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, The ‘Burbs, When Harry Met Sally…
I forgot to mention that my favorite part of this episode was when someone (Nelson? or Andrew maybe?) shouted “GAMES!”
