NYGC Episode 29: Macking For Geeks Part 2: Mack Harder

Two Bytes Are Better Than One

You asked for it.

Valentine’s Day is here again, and the New York Geeks take another stab at deciphering the interaction between nerds of both genders. We also take calls from our loyal listeners, and hopefully dole out advice that could help make for a relatively eventful Valentine’s weekend. That is, if you consider listening to a podcast an event.

“That is, if you consider listening to a podcast an event.”

I waited outside Nobody Beats the Wiz last night hoping to “buy” this “podcast” there.

After sitting in my beach chair for an hour in the freezing cold I realized Nobody Beats the Wiz had turned into a Best buy and that podcasts are free and can be found online.

Oh how the world has changed.

    Anyway….gotta go to MO’s. Lata.

I really liked the part where you all concluded geeks are romantics because of Luke Skywalker’s macking. I don’t know about Luke Skywalker, so I’m going to share my Top Three Geek-Macking Moments (from movies I know):

    3. John Cusack mumbling vowels to cold read sexy co-worker Maxine just to find out her name in Being John Malkovich
    2. Enid bossing Seymour into buying her a Catwoman mask from a porn shop.
    1. Every word out of Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park.

These are TOP techniques for geeks. And too bad they’re obnoxious ones, and Jeff Goldblum is gross.
