Here’s a sweet new fan trailer for the original “TRON” that makes it feel more like a modern movie preview. I approve.

I’m a fan of the Scott Pilgrim books and with the new trailer out I wonder what some of you think?
Being an animator I really feel that the charm of the book would be much better suited to a game or a traditionally animated feature.
Epic musical Win here! The history of video games as composed by Adolfo Baez in Mario Paint.
Great job Adolfo! MAN they really need to re-release Mario Paint for the Wii or DS.
The photography continues at day 2 of PAX East 2010, where the New York Geeks continue to scope out the gaming scene and not make it into various panels.
Incidentally, we will have a podcast that covers the entire event at the end of the weekend. Until then, enjoy more photos on our Flickr and Facebook pages.
Over on our Flickr account, we’ve got some photos from day 1 of PAX East 2010. Head on over and check ‘em out!
Here at PAX East, we’ve been encountering all kinds of geeks, and it brings to mind a question we’ve considered before – just what is the difference between geeks, nerds, and dorks?
Luckily, a venn diagram from Great White Snark explains the interrelationships between these groups in an easily digestible manner. It all makes sense now. Well, sort of.

The 2nd Annual NYC Twestival will be held in NYC this Thursday, March 25th, from 7pm-11pm at Good Units (below the Hudson Hotel). Unfortunately, Nelson and I will be prepping for our trip to PAX the next day, so we’ll be unable to attend. But don’t let our absence stop you from attending. From the website:
“Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, games, and be a part of one the largest philanthropy events organized through social media. Join us for Mister Disco ( @MisterDisco ) and Shinobi Ninja ( @ShinobiNinja ), photographs by Maureen Pitz , prize auction, and amazing origami demonstrations by Sok Song . You’ll have a chance to add your signature to his creations before he folds out giant twitter birds.”
So there you go. If you do attend, make sure to drop us a line and let us know how it was!
