“Pale Force” DVD on Sale Today!

Pale Force DVDWhile on the theme of Conan posts, I wanted to make a quick plug for the Jim Gaffigan/Conan O’Brien “Pale Force” DVD that went on sale today!  I and my cohort Tom Smolenski animated the first “season” of 20 webisodes now 3 years ago, and it’s still some of the work I’m most proud of.  I don’t get any residuals or kickback if you buy it, and my name appears nowhere on the disc or packaging, but I think it’s a hilarious series that deserves as much exposure as it can get (and should be given heaps of money for more to be produced).

Update your Apple TV AGAIN if you actually want to WATCH videos

apple-tv-2.0.1-update

GOOOOOO Mac Mini HTPC!!

And on a brief side note, the Apple TV 3.0 update looks pretty ugly and introduces nothing that wasn’t new in iTunes 9. Maybe if the update had come out then it would have been exciting – but only maybe. Quite a disappointment that there’s no new feature unique to this device this time around.

You would think this posting would have come from David. Go figure.

From nintendo.joystiq.com/Gizmodo/MOCpages:

“Video games and Lego go together like peanut butter and chocolate. We’ve seen wonderfully bricky homages to Donkey Kong and cuddly little Pokemon, an ingenious way to make your own Zapper and even recreations of other Nintendo consoles — and now, a full NES set courtesy of [Dave Sterling's page on] MOCpages.”
