Name that Video on The Urly Show #29

This past week, I was a call-in contestant on The Urly Show, a podcast hosted by our friends at Urlesque. (You might remember them as being partly responsible for various NYC meme parties, which we’ve covered before.)

Anyhow, in true NY geek fashion, I took part in a “Name that Video” quiz, in which I was required to recognize recent viral internet videos based on audio alone. You can check out the video below to see how I did…

You can find more of The Urly Show on iTunes or Urlesque.com, and you can also follow Urlesque on Facebook and Twitter. Thanks for having me on the show, guys!

Here’s a word I never thought I’d hear Pee-Wee Herman say: “YouTube”.

Happy HallowMEME Costume Party

Urlesque.com and Know Your Meme are throwing another internet-themed costume party, “Happy HallowMEME Party” on Halloween Eve (October 30th) at 9pm at Fontana’s Bar (105 Eldridge Street between Grand and Broome).

You may remember our visit to the previous extravaganza, A Night to ReMEMEber, which involved a similar congregation of internet kids dressing up and getting down in various web-inspired costumes.

“Unlike any Halloween party you’ve ever attended, Happy HallowMEME will celebrate web culture with guests donning costumes celebrating notorious web memes and viral video stars.”
