Blah!!! All you guys who hate super hero comics because of continuity are just lazy. All you have to do is look a character or a story arch up on the internet it takes like two seconds.

Yeah i know, everyone's probably thinking, I shouldn't have to do that! But when your dealing with a character or universe that's been around since the 30s there is going to be some stuff that your not going to know. If you take the time to look it up you will appreciate where the writer of the comic is coming from.

My first DC comic was Crisis on Infinite earths. I had know idea what was going on or who was important in the story, but i got through it. When I finished it, I not only had a whole new appreciated for the stories being told in comics now, but also for shows like Justice League Unlimited or Smallvile. I mean who would have thought that Captain Atom or Booster Gold would ever be on a TV show. The creators of these things are fans too and a lot of the stuff they put in to the comics are winks and nods to the fans.

Also don't be hating on the peeps that read superhero comics regularly. They don't read them because there like those fools that watch the bad soap operas on TV cause they have been on forever. They stay reading them because they are true fans.

Its like when your favorite football team sucks, you keep watching them cause they are your favorite team. One day they might win the superbowl and it will mean something to you because you have been there fan through thick and thin.

A lot of people keep reading superhero comics because they are waiting for that story that doesn't involve vampires or zombies. Or how about the hero that dies and comes back to life. One day there will be a new fresh story and it will be awesome that you are there experiencing it as it comes out. Seeing a cliff hanger on the last page of a comic you just enjoyed is fun. Plus you have wait a month for the next issue to come out. It keeps the suspense going. By the time you get the trade, you already missed the boat on the story. There is no suspense in a graphic novel or a trade because you can just turn the page and the next issue is there.

So I'm going to go read my X-men vs. Vampires comic right now. I will do it bravely for i know that Vampires are just a fad and they will go away. One day the chosen one will come and free my people from slavery. He will write many good x-men stories and there will be tidings of great BAMFS!!!

For I am a true believer.... and that's what i believe in!
