He doesn't have a tan... Superman.

He doesn't have a tan... Superman.

Yes, friends, after this week we will have recorded 37 episodes of the New York Geekcast (”…in a row?”). And the topic for our latest outing is an oft-requested one: comics and comic books.

Since the scope this topic is rather broad, we’re making this a CALL-IN SHOW, and we want to hear from YOU. Visit our Facebook group for the phone number to call, and take part in our grand celebration of sequential art, tonight between 10:30 and 12pm EST. Talk to you then!

My Breakup Letter to New York Comicon

Dear New York Comicon,

I love you. Honestly, I do. The last three years with you were amazing. A-mazing. Remember when my brother introduced us? It was love at first sight. You introduced to me to so many new things. Because of you, I’ve shaken hands some of my artistic heroes, found out about obscure comics I’d never heard about and met some new people. Hell, you even got me some awesome shirts. It was a blast.

And that’s what I mean…was.

This is kind of hard to write but here goes: I think we should break up.
