Some schlub at this year’s Oregon State Fair came in second place with a LEGO statue of Yoda. Too bad this is an actual LEGO set, from 2002.
Oops! Probably forgot to tell the judges that. This is like english class in high school, where the slacker jocks thought they could get away with reciting Savage Garden lyrics as the poem “they wrote” for that week’s assignment. Not fooling anyone.
It may not be in New York, but I wanted to mention that I’m at the Brickworld 2009 event in Wheeling, IL for the weekend. It’s a yearly LEGO fan convention where folks come from all around to show off their creations, take part in workshops, and just generally geek out about LEGO products.
