If you’re a frequenter of the internets, most likely you’ve already heard about the iPad, the new Apple product that’s a cross between an iPhone and a regular Mac laptop. It kind of reminds me of the Apple “Knowledge Navigator,” a product concept shown in this video from 1987.

And on a brief side note, the Apple TV 3.0 update looks pretty ugly and introduces nothing that wasn’t new in iTunes 9. Maybe if the update had come out then it would have been exciting – but only maybe. Quite a disappointment that there’s no new feature unique to this device this time around.

In this episode we discuss what we love/hate about Apple, Microsoft and everything in between. We also try in vain to get Ben Oviatt on Skype and somehow relate everything to ducks and quacking!
We also have a new segment called “Where’s Nelson?!?” where you listen to an audio clip (in episode) of me describing a location that you have to guess. You can e-mail us at thegeeks@nygeekcast.com with the answer and if you guess the location correctly you’ll get a cool prize.
